The tongue bow bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This provides the tongue with optimum space. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players who try to stick their tongue over the bit, as the arch effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The moulded transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings makes it impossible to pinch the lips and also gives the bit a particularly stable lateral hold. The shape of the bit is particularly suitable for working with young horses.
